Another challenge to innovate through design, another opportunity to imagine budget-friendly, comfortable and sustainable housing facilities. By multiplying and deploying a standard cube-shaped housing module, we conceived a dynamic ensemble of different housing typologies and collective amenities, all folded around a central green communal space and in direct connection with the neighbourhood. The buildings' uniform wood structure allows prefabrication and on-site assembly. A harmonious balance between identity, privacy and social cohesion.
The competition was organized by Gewestelijke Maatschappij voor Volkshuisvesting GMV Plant, VSMW and Provincie Vlaams-Brabant.
